Dear parents, students and families,

We welcome you all to the new academic year and wish you a happy and prosperous new year.

Greek classes are starting this week at Malvern Valley. So, we look forward to seeing you this Saturday, 4th February 9.30 pm. Classes will finish at 12.30 pm and you can pick up your children then unless you have organised with us otherwise.

This Saturday will be a Welcome Day with a range of fun learning activities and traditional Greek games for the students. We will start our activities with the cutting of the Vasilopitta, the New Year traditional cake, and will see who will find the lucky coin.

We would like to note that as there are children with food allergies at school, the cake will not be given to the students to eat (even though it will not contain nuts), but we will give them icy-poles instead. Teachers will take care of that.

We remind you that students need to have a snack and water bottle with them and anyone with food allergies and anaphylaxis should have their medication clearly labelled in their school bag. Please note that food with NUTS are not to be brought to school.

For those of you who might haven't received the 2017 stationery please see the website here.

Please contact me if you have any questions.

Looking forward to seeing you all.

Best wishes,
Andrea Garivaldis
