Patriarch Bartholomew visiting Melbourne

We have been contacted by the Intercommunities & Parishes Council of Victoria and the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia to participate in a special event, on account of the visit of the His Holiness the Patriarch Bartholomew residing in Constantinople, who is visiting Melbourne.
|
|
|
Present at the event will be the Prime Minister of Australia Anthony Albanese and the Governor Margaret Elaine Gardener.
|
As a result of the above we would like to call on your assistance to allow your child/ren to be part of the Zenon Greek School group that will take part.
|
|
Participating in this event solely depends on number of students who register to take part.
|
So please inform Zenon immediately if you intent on coming.
|
|
It would be great for our older students to take part in this special event which happens once in one's lifetime.
|
|
|

|
Students in Year 3 and above are invited to come along and be part of our school group which will be joiining the Youth Parade.
If you have any younger children, they will will be under your care.
It is a free event and everyone will need to arrange their own transport. If interested to come along as a family, your child will join the Parade uncer our guidane, and you will have the opportunity to watch the event. More details will be sent closer to the date.

There is ample parking available at the venue and you will be provided with a link to book your parking prior to the event.
|
Students who participate will need to be appropriately dressed with a Zenon Polo top, black pants/skirt and black shoes.
|
Depending on the number of students we will engage Zenon staff to accompany the group.
