Dear parents and students,

Zenon today, alongside all of Greeks worldwide, is celebrating "OXI" Day. On this day (28th October 1940) the Greek people, during World War II, fought the invaders in order to defend Greece in the mountains of Pindos.

It was an invasion where all Greeks said "OXI" (NO), supporting their Prime Minister I. Metaxas, to the invaders. The Greek soldiers' galiant resistance repelled the invaders and showed the world what a small country can do if they're united.

Let's continue to teach our young generations about these events, as these are part of the most important chapters of contemporary Greek history.
