Zenon Greek classes

Dear parents,

I hope everyone is well!

I am getting in touch as we have received this announcement from Community Languages Victoria/Department of Education:
This week "the Premier announced an extension of the current lockdown period in Victoria. The restrictions will continue for a further seven-days until Tuesday, 27 July at 11.59pm.

During this period community language schools must continue to deliver their language programs remotely, in line with the advice issued by Victoria’s Chief Health Officer.

The Department will be in touch with further updates as they come to hand. We are therefore informing you that our classes this week and until next Tuesday 27th July (inclusive) will take place online via Zoom.

Zoom links and times remain the same as the ones you already have.

We hope that this lockdown will not last long. As soon as we are given permission to return to face-to-face learning we will contact you.

We urge you to please continue to support the children. We understand that this is very difficult and sometimes frustrating -on top of the Day school remote learning, but we have been through this before and we have seen that those children who have stayed connected with their learning managed to maintain their interest in the Greek language and culture and it was easier for them to return to the classroom and meet their friends again.

Thank you for your support and cooperation!

Warm regards,
Andrea Garivaldis
Principal
