End of 2021 - Enrolments for 2022

Dear parents,
Now that we have reached the end of 2021, we wish to thank you one more time for your dedication, cooperation, support, and encouragement for making it to the end of another difficult year.
|
|
Through face-to-face classes and remote learning, our students managed to stay in touch with the Greek language and culture. The main thing is that we are here, and we are really excited about celebrating another Christmas and soon welcoming a New Year with much needed hope.

- The students' End of Year reports and Certificates will be emailed to you soon, along with messages from their teachers.
New academic Year 2022
We are looking forward to welcoming all our students back in the classrooms in February 2022 to continue the Greek language and enjoy the rich traditions of our Greek culture and heritage.

Our school will be operating from three campuses/locations: Glen Eira College (Caulfield), Malvern Valley Primary (Malvern East), Phoenix Park (Malvern East).

OUR GOAL
We are working very hard to bring a new spirit into our classes to nourish and support children to embrace learning Greek in a motivated and positive manner. We all have learned a lot in the past couple of years and now we're a lot more equipped to withstand and be productive with the classroom as well as online learning environments. Below is what our school is aiming at offering it's students as an all round and complete package:

- Learn and improve Greek language skills in communicating, speaking, reading and writing whether in the classroom or online when needed;
- Explore the wealth of the most beautiful in the world Greek culture with rich cultural activities;
- Professional Greek dancing - we are very happy to announce that we have contracted with Mr Sotiris Sotiriou, a professional and renowned Greek dancing instructor in the Melbourne community to teach our students;
- Ellinopoula e-learning - this program will only be available to those families who inform us that they wish to have the program for their children. It is a positive experience for all those who tried it in the past and we want as many of our students to use it, as it is fun and really rewarding. Attention: Please email us if you wish your children to continue accessing and using Ellinopoula in 2022. If we don;t hear from you before 29th December, your children's accounts will become inactive.
VASILOPITA 2022
|
On our first day next year, we will celebrate the tradition of the lucky New Year's Cake "Vasilopita" with all the students. We look forward to this day as a great and blessed start to the new year. We look forward to welcoming 2022 with a positive tone!

RE-ENROLMENT for 2022
|
Thank you to those of you who have already enrolled. This means that your child/ren are already on our class lists for next year. If you haven't enrolled yet, we urge you to re-enrol your children and enrol any new students as soon as possible. Students who are enrolled by this Saturday, 18th December, will be given priority in having their place secured in our new 2022 classes.
