On Sunday 27 October 2013, two students of Zenon Education have received impressive awards for their work commemorating the heroism of Greek soldiers for Liberation of Greece. The event was organised by the Australian Hellenic Memorial Foundation committee and all students received participation certificates and badges depicting the Greek and Australian flags.
The students from Zenon Education are –
- Sophia Apostolopoulos, receiving 1st Prize in her category of stundents of the first few Primary school years and a cheque for $150.
- Andreas Nassios, receiving 2nd Prize in his category of VCE students and a cheque of $300 (Andreas is a Year 9 student doing VCE Greek in 2013)
